As a resident of Braishfield you are a member of the Braishfield Village Association and will receive a Residents Guide annually or when it is up-dated. New Residents should receive a copy on arrival together with a copy of the Village Design Statement.
This guide contains information about our village and the various organisations. There are many activities in the Village and hopefully some will appeal to you. We are particularly proud of our village and the community spirit and enterprise shown by so many.
We value your support and hope you will find this guide useful and interesting.

The Braishfield Village Design Statement
The Village Design Statement records the essential character of Braishfield in the opinion of its residents in 2002. It has helped us see the beauty of our village more clearly. The recommendations aim to conserve the special qualities of the village and they should be consulted by anyone proposing to make any changes in the village. Test Valley Borough Council adopted the Village Design Statement as Supplementary Planning Guidance on 3rd April 2002 and the Statement now forms part of the Borough Council’s Planning policy for the village.
